the SIA Certified Grandeco Snow Academy offers ski and snowboard lessons
at Grandeco Snow Resort in the Urabandai area.
Day-trip visitors can rent equipment at the information counter in front of the West Wing of the Ski Center.
This is the official ski and snowboard school of EN RESORT Grandeco.
English-language lessons are available for private lessons only.
Private Lesson
A private lesson based on a one-on-one style with your instructor.
Various special benefits are also available for private lessons.
Family & Friends Private Lesson
Enjoy learning together with your family or friends under the guidance of a dedicated instructor. Whether with your siblings, parents, or close friends, this private lesson lets everyone improve their skills at their own pace.

Private Lesson
No matter your level, our private lessons are tailored to your skills and goals.Your instructor will provide one-on-one guidance to help you improve safely and efficiently. For guests who wish, a Medal Test can be conducted during the ski or snowboard private lesson. Please request this in advance.(Please note that the Medal Test may not be available depending on weather and snow conditions.)

Kids Private Lesson
This lesson is designed for elementary school children (ages 6–12).Each child will receive a lesson sheet to help them review their progress together with the coach, making it a fun and motivating way to see their improvement as they learn.

Kinder Private Lesson
This private lesson is designed to help young children enjoy skiing through fun snow activities while gradually becoming comfortable on the slopes.Lesson duration can be adjusted to 1.5 hours depending on the child’s stamina and concentration level. The lesson is customized to suit each child’s pace and needs.

General Benefits for Private Lessons
- Advance Booking Discount
- Guests who book at least one month in advance will receive a discount on the base lesson fee as follows:
Full Day: ¥2,000 OFF / Half Day: ¥1,000 OFF / 1.5 hrs or 1 hr: ¥500 OFF
＊When booking through the website, the discounted price may not appear automatically due to system limitations. The discount will be applied at payment on the lesson day. - First-Time Guest Benefit
- Guests taking a private lesson for the first time will receive a one-time discount as follows:
Full Day: ¥2,000 OFF / Half Day: ¥1,000 OFF / 1.5 hrs or 1 hr: ¥500 OFF
＊This benefit cannot be combined with the Advance Booking Benefit.

Lesson availability may vary depending on the day. Weekends, holidays, and the New Year period are expected to be busy, so we recommend making a reservation in advance.
Lesson Procedures
- For Hotel Guests

① On the Day of Your Lesson Please visit the Ski Rental Counter on the 1st floor of the hotel between 7:00–.
You will be asked to fill out the application form.
At that time, you may choose your preferred start time, meeting location, and dismissal location.
Of course, you may also consult with us in advance regarding any details or concerns.② Rentals If you need to rent ski wear or equipment, please complete the rental check-in at the same counter.
Advance reservations are also accepted. We recommend completing your rental reservation in advance for a smoother process.③ Meeting & Dismissal For private lessons, the meeting and dismissal locations will be arranged at the spot you specify within the hotel or the ski resort.
For group lessons, please meet in front of the slope map at the base of the ski gondola (at the bottom of the stairs).
Dismissal will take place at the same location as the meeting point. - For Day-use Guests

International Ski Skill Test
/ Junior International Ski Skill Testー For Day-use Guests
The International Ski Skill Test is the only technical certification in Japan authorized by the International Ski Instructors Association (ISIA).
As the name indicates, your skiing skills are evaluated based on international standards.
There are eight levels in total.

The ranking levels are Gold, Silver, Bronze, Red, Yellow, and Green — six levels in total.

During private lessons, the test may be taken as part of the lesson.
(For Executive Private Lessons, the test fee is waived, but certification fees apply separately. )
